Tonight we played SpecialAttack, losing 0-8 on cp_pro_granary and winning 2-0 on cp_gravelpit with them a player down for the second round. Thanks for the game guys. Our next league game is on Sunday against Necrotic United Brothers at 8pm on cp_dustbowl and ctf_turbine.

Our first Division 4C game was last night against Lulz Team. We lost 3-1 on cp_well on our server, then won 4-2 on cp_well on their server (two of their players had connection problems during the second map). Thanks for the games.

Our next league game is this week against SpecialAttack, on cp_gravelpit and cp_pro_granary.

Thanks very much for the game last night Malevolent Monkies, it finished 5-0 to MM on cp_granary and 3-1 to MM on cp_well.

We don’t have a friendly planned for this sunday, however next week the ETF2L season 3 starts so we will be arranging our game against Lulz Team as soon as possible.

After a few of their players experienced connection problems we agreed to postpone Thursday’s game against Super Squirrels to a later date. This evening we played Nervous Energy, and won 6-3 on cp_gravelpit and 7-1 on cp_badlands. Thanks very much for the game guys.

Our next friendly is against Malevolent Monkies on Thursday on cp_granary and cp_well. Hopefully we’ll be able to arrange a friendly match on the new map, Badwater Basin, for Sunday.

In league news we have been preliminarily placed in Division 4 for ETF2L season 3.

On Thursday 14th at 8:30PM we play a new clan called Super Squirrels on cp_well and ctf_2forts. On Sunday 17th at 8PM we play Nervous Energy on cp_gravelpit and cp_badlands.

Also in the news, we have a confirmed date for the Heavy update; Tuesday 19th August. Along with the usual unlockable weapons and achievements there will be new maps, one of which has already been confirmed as cp_steel. There will also be a new gameplay mode, which presumably some or all of the new maps will incorporate.

Thanks go to the Frag Test Dummies for the friendly last night, which we won 7-1 on pl_goldrush and 4-1 on ctf_2forts (which they were a man down on for a while). We’re in the process of arranging some friendlies for Thursday and Sunday, which will be posted when they are confirmed.

Thanks Fragtastic for a great game tonight. We won cp_granary 4-2 and lost cp_dustbowl 3-6. Our next game is on Sunday at 8PM against old neighbours Frag Test Dummies on pl_goldrush and ctf_2forts. We also have a game against Malevolent Monkies on Thursday 21st August at 8:30PM on cp_granary and cp_well.

Although the remaining Wireplay league game against Sir is in limbo, we are pushing ahead with our post-season friendly schedule. Tonight’s match is against Fragtastic at 8pm on cp_granary and cp_dustbowl, on their server. Source TV appears to be available.

Our two remaining WPTF2L season 2 games have been scheduled for this week. We play Sir on Thursday at 8pm on cp_gravelpit and cp_well, and Rasta on Sunday at 8pm on cp_steel_b4 and cp_badlands.

Season 3 of Wireplay will be starting at some point in September, so no doubt we’ll be having some friendly matches over the next few months.
