After a few of their players experienced connection problems we agreed to postpone Thursday’s game against Super Squirrels to a later date. This evening we played Nervous Energy, and won 6-3 on cp_gravelpit and 7-1 on cp_badlands. Thanks very much for the game guys.

Our next friendly is against Malevolent Monkies on Thursday on cp_granary and cp_well. Hopefully we’ll be able to arrange a friendly match on the new map, Badwater Basin, for Sunday.

In league news we have been preliminarily placed in Division 4 for ETF2L season 3.

Our two remaining WPTF2L season 2 games have been scheduled for this week. We play Sir on Thursday at 8pm on cp_gravelpit and cp_well, and Rasta on Sunday at 8pm on cp_steel_b4 and cp_badlands.

Season 3 of Wireplay will be starting at some point in September, so no doubt we’ll be having some friendly matches over the next few months.

No match in week 3 due to schedule (9 teams per league, each week one team gets a rest)

This week we played fellow UK clan Fragtastic. This week we also had the bonus of playing 2Fort for both maps.

We started off a little shakey in a very tight first map but managed to sneak a cap late on (whilst defending one going the other way ) which gave us the 2 – 1 advantage and all 3 points for the first map.

The second time out on 2Fort was not as close as our scouts and heavies seemed to keep [FT] well pinned down.

Thanks to the guys again who were having a hard time with members when this match was played. GG guys.

It has been a while since any news was posted and seeing as how the last game of the first ETF2L season has just finished i decided to have a little recap.

Week 2 of the ETF2L first season and our opponent is [.UnSu] another Swedish team. We lost dustbowl 4 – 6 after getting piped well and truly off of point 5.

Secondly was 2Fort. Sadly i dont remember much about this game except it was 4 – 4.

All i can say to [.UnSu] is well played, some very nice demo work stopped us right in our tracks.
