This weeks map was cp_well. After a rather forceful lesson in the form of a 6 – 0 drubbing from [CG] in a practice match earlier in the week we knew we had a little bit of work to do.

We went into the |RUSH| match with the usual confusion of who will play where and as what. After all of the “organisation” was out of the way we started. |RUSH| started the match on a slight back foot but soon enough they recovered their footing. This was very similar to how we played against [CG], slowly starting to creep our way back in towards the end of the match.

Full credit to |RUSH| and i somehow feel that if there was a second leg to play that the scores would have been somewhat closer.

This weeks EDTF2L game was against -UWE- on ctf_2fort. Once again the turnout for the game was phenomenal, we almost had enough to field two teams! Unfortunately this also leads to me feeling very guilty when some people who turned up don’t get to play.

The match itself was played on UWEs server, as ours is experiencing connectivity issues at the moment. After some clarification on the ED rules regarding red crossed players, the match got under way (much to some of our teams surprise!). There was a feeling of d

We had our first match of the EDTF2L against [BoD] on cp_dustbowl last night, and whilst it didn’t run as smoothly as I had hoped, we did end up winning by two rounds to nil. I should mention that [BoD] were a player down for the whole match, so they were at a disadvantage right from the start.

Many thanks to [BoD], who showed a lot of patience during the long delay before the start of the game and remained very amicable throughout. If you fancy a scrimm sometime with a full squad, just let me know!

We’ve been placed in division 2 of the first EDTF2L season alongside [BoD], [CpC], Anomaly, ^wotr^, -UWE-, mb` and |RUSH|. No, I’ve never heard of any of them either! You can see the full table on the league page.

Our first match is against [BoD] on cp_dustbowl, at 9pm on the 15th of November, so we have a week in hand to sort out the finer details. Please let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions, it’d be nice to have some input from everyone!
